ICT and Computing

A brief difference between ICT and Computing is : ICT theory covers the applications of ICT and its effect on society. ICT is also much more to do with running software.  Computing theory covers the way computers and programs work. While Computing involves the use of programming languages such as Visual Basic and Prolog

  1. Well done for getting you blog setup and a good summary. The other point we discussed was the idea that "computing does not need computers". Computing in a way of thinking in a structured way about problems. Computers help by allowing us to run that problem quickly and accurately - but it could still be done by hand/brain. A computer is simply a tool to help us compute more easily
